We may also process information based on legitimate business interests including preventing fraud, enforcing our Terms of Service, complying with legal obligations and improving our business operations.

We may share your personal information with property industry partners (developers, builders, real estate agents, project marketing and sales teams); financial services partners (mortgage brokers and lenders in our network); professional service providers (conveyancers, solicitors, valuers, removalists — upon request); technology and service providers (Amazon Web Services, Pipedrive, ActiveCampaign, Google Workspace, Google Drive, Stripe, Google Analytics, marketing automation and SMS providers); our related bodies corporate and affiliates; professional advisors; and government agencies or courts when legally required.
Property Listing Inquiries: When you submit an inquiry about a specific property listing through our platform, your inquiry goes directly to the listing agent, developer or builder. HALP does not store or process those property-specific inquiries — the property advertiser becomes the data controller, and you should review their privacy policy.
General Platform Inquiries: When you use our general inquiry forms (Contact Us, Join Us, Advertise With Us), your information is collected and stored by HALP in our CRM systems (Pipedrive, ActiveCampaign), with supporting documentation in Google Drive.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Data Security and Storage
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures including SSL encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage, secure authentication and access controls, regular security assessments, restricted staff access, secure data centres (AWS) with physical security controls, and PCI-DSS compliant payment processing through Stripe. We never store complete credit card numbers.
Retention: account information is retained while your account is active plus 7 years after closure; inquiry and communication records for up to 7 years; transaction records for 7 years; marketing data until you unsubscribe; website analytics typically for 26 months.
Storage locations: primarily Amazon Web Services (AWS), with cloud CRM/marketing (Pipedrive, ActiveCampaign), document storage (Google Drive) and payment processing (Stripe).
